requirement from every Brother – commitment to self-development, the Brotherhood and to Lodge-development. Therefore: Let us endeavour to soothe the unhappy, to sympathize with their misfortunes, to compassionate their miseries, and to restore peace to their troubled minds. Let us practice virtue, morality and brotherly love, so that we will find happiness in this world and immortality in the next. Let us be guided by the stern principles of rectitude and justice and act on the square with all men. Let us treat our Brethren as being on our own level – while working in and for the Lodge. Finally, Brethren – Let us practice those virtues of uprightness and integrity, which will beautify and adorn our own conduct and Freemasonry. When all is said and done – we will be better men after all. The main charity fundraiser for the year will again be ‘The Glenlyon Fishfest’ to be executed under The Glenlyon Foundation and will be held in May 2018. We will endeavor to make this event bigger and better than previous years. We look forward to the full support of the Brethren of the Lodge and their connections. I wish for you all a wonderful year.
